I enjoyed this book, but the many typos were distracting.  Here are just a couple.
p. 145, 5th line, is should be it:
"...but here is was after noon...."
p. 151, 2nd line from the bottom, the word be (or some other word) is missing:
"...it would [be] good practice in meeting people...."
